Two Exceptional Students, One Reel Demonstrating Their Commitment to Service
To celebrate two of our students winning the Alpha Chi "In Scholarship and in Service" grant, we put together a short reel highlighting the actions that led to them being selected for this distinguished honor.
Creating this reel taught me how to be deliberate in selecting what to include in shortform content. Because we featured two winners in one minute-long clip, it was a challenge to capture the entire scope of their character; It was necessary to leave most of the interview footage on the cutting room floor. After carefully choosing the best clips, the story came together and demonstrated their qualities well.
